Facelift Sydney
Through facelift surgery, it is possible to improve visible signs of ageing of the neck and face.
A facelift can help to address a number of issues, including sagging of the facial skin, particularly in the mid-face; deep creases below the lower eyelids; deep creases along the nose which then extend down to the corner of the mouth; descent of facial fat; facial volume loss with redistribution of facial fat lower than desired; and sagging and loss of definition of the jawline and neck skin.

Risks
Facelifts, like any surgical procedure, come with certain risks and potential complications. Some of these include:
- Anesthesia risks: Any surgery involving anesthesia carries risks, including allergic reactions and breathing problems.
- Bleeding: Hematoma or excessive bleeding under the skin is a potential risk with facelift surgery.
- Infection: Although rare, there is a risk of infection after surgery.
- Poor wound healing: Some individuals may experience slow healing or poor scarring at incision sites.
- Nerve damage: Temporary or, in rare cases, permanent damage to facial nerves can cause numbness, weakness, or changes in sensation.
- Hair loss: In the areas where incisions are made, hair loss might occur, but it's often temporary.
- Skin irregularities: Irregularities in skin contour or texture might occur, leading to an uneven appearance.
- Facial asymmetry: Sometimes, there might be a difference in symmetry between the two sides of the face.
- Deep vein thrombosis and cardiac complications: In rare cases, blood clots can form in the veins, leading to more severe complications.
- Unsatisfactory results: There's always a possibility that the results might not meet expectations or could require further corrective procedures.
It's essential to discuss these risks thoroughly with Dr Moradi before deciding to undergo any cosmetic procedure.
